OXO Lint Roller
OXO reached out to ELEVEN to address pain-points in current reusable lint removal products. Most reusable lint removal products on the market only work in a single direction, forcing the user into unnatural motions. We were tasked with exploring concepts that could work in both directions, similar to disposable lint removal products. By creating an innovative bi-directional mechanism and combining it with micro bristles, we created a first of its kind reusable lint roller.

Together with the team at OXO, We developed a comfortable, accessible, and intuitive to use form.
The final direction used a fine bristle textile sewn together in the center of the product to allow for bi-directional use and lint removal. With a quick in and out motion, the user can clear lint off of the textile, moving it to the bottom collection area of the product. Simple open the bottom door and tap out the collected lint.
From early concepts, we designed around the challenge of capturing the lint removal textile simply and easily with plastic parts.
