Diggs Groov Training Aid
After working with Diggs designing the Revol Crate, Diggs tasked ELEVEN to explore product ideas to make crate training easier. Out of that exploration came Groov, a first of its kind crate training aid and enrichment tool. Creating a system with the crate, Groov encourages licking which is proven to calm dogs.

For use with spreadable treats, we explored different treatments of the inner texture and tested what would best deliver different types of treats. Additionally, we designed a locking lid to protect from potential messes while freezing.
Designed to fit in the wire mesh of the Diggs crates, we optimized the form for ease of use and comfort for the dog. We tested the ability of dogs to dislodge the training aid and reinforced key areas to improve retention.
While designed to work with the wire mesh on the Diggs crates, we measured the spacing and wire gauge on crates across the market to ensure that pet parents with any create can benefit from the training Groov provides.
